The Therapeutic Process:
Is based on the establishment of an empathic and collaborative relationship, and in the utilization of knowledge and techniques appropriate to the problem presented. The intervention has an intrapsychic focus, that is, it focuses on what takes place within the person.
It can be a counselling process (short and focused on a specific area) or a psychotherapy process (open-ended and crossing several areas)
The frequency of the sessions, in the beginning, is usually weekly
